Coors Field Venue Information
Coors Field, situated at 2001 Blake Street, Denver, CO 80205, is a cornerstone of Colorado’s sports and entertainment scene. Built during the MLB’s 1990s expansion era, it replaced Mile High Stadium as the Rockies’ home and is named after the Coors Brewing Company, which operates the world’s largest brewing facility in nearby Golden, Colorado. The ballpark’s high-altitude location, over 5,000 feet above sea level, makes it unique, as the thin air allows baseballs to travel farther, leading to its reputation as a hitter’s park. In 1999, Coors Field set an MLB record with 303 home runs in a single season.
Beyond baseball, Coors Field hosts concerts, with past performances by artists like Billy Joel, The Eagles, and Zac Brown Band, as well as special events like the 2016 NHL Stadium Series game. The stadium features modern amenities, including a rooftop bar with city skyline views, microbrew stands, and family-friendly attractions like the Platte River Picnic Area. With over 4 million visitors annually, Coors Field offers free Wi-Fi, a variety of concessions, and approximately 1,000 accessible seats for guests with disabilities. Gates typically open 90 minutes to 2 hours before events, depending on the event type. Fans can access the venue via public transportation (RTD Light Rail to Union Station, a 10-minute walk) or rideshare drop-off zones at 22nd Street and Wazee.

Coors Field Seating Options
Coors Field offers a variety of seating sections to suit different preferences, budgets, and viewing experiences. Below is a detailed breakdown of the main seating areas, based on information from sources like MLB.com, RateYourSeats.com, and TicketSmarter.
Lower Reserved Infield
Located in sections 122–138, the Lower Reserved Infield seats are some of the most desirable at Coors Field. Positioned close to the action behind home plate and along the baselines, these seats offer excellent views of the infield. They provide proximity to the Rockies’ and visitors’ dugouts, making them ideal for fans wanting to feel immersed in the game. Prices typically range from $50 to $200, depending on the opponent and game demand.
Lower Reserved Outfield
Found in sections 151–160, these seats are in the outfield at field level, offering a more distant but still engaging view of the game. They are closer to the action than upper-level seats but farther from home plate. These sections are more affordable, with tickets often starting at $30, though they receive less shade and may be sun-exposed during day games.
Lower Reserved Corner
Located in sections like 105 and 149, the Lower Reserved Corner seats are in the corners of the field level, near the foul poles. These seats provide a unique angle on the game, often at a lower price point (starting around $25). However, views may be partially obstructed, and these areas are more exposed to the sun, especially in right field.
Right Field Mezzanine
The Right Field Mezzanine (sections 201–203) offers a lively atmosphere, especially for evening games, with access to the Casamigos Sky Deck bar serving signature drinks like the Rock-rita. These seats are farther from home plate, with tickets starting at $20, making them a budget-friendly option. However, views can be limited, especially in sections 208–209, which are in a poorly lit corner of the stadium.
Pavilion
The Pavilion, located in left field (sections 151–160), is a fan-favorite for its energetic vibe and proximity to the outfield action. These seats are ideal for catching home run balls and offer great views of the scoreboard and mountains. Tickets typically start at $15, but these seats are fully exposed to the sun during day games, so sunscreen and hats are recommended.
Upper Reserved
The Upper Reserved sections (300-level) are split into Lower (L300s) and Upper (U300s) areas, offering budget-friendly options with tickets starting as low as $10. These seats provide a broader view of the field but are farther from the action. The Lower Upper Reserved sections (L311–L346) are preferable, with fewer rows (typically 9 or less) and better proximity to the concourse.
Upper Reserved Infield
Located in sections L330–L335, these seats are in the upper deck near home plate, offering a good overview of the infield. They are partially shaded for afternoon games, especially in higher rows under the overhang. Tickets typically range from $15 to $40, making them a solid choice for fans seeking value and shade.
Upper Reserved Outfield
Found in sections L301–L310 and L347–L350, these seats are in the outfield portion of the upper deck. They provide sweeping views of the field and mountains but are farther from the action. Tickets start at $10, but these sections receive less shade, especially on the first-base side.
Upper Reserved Corner
Sections like L311 and L346 are in the corners of the upper deck, offering some of the cheapest tickets (starting at $10). While farther from home plate, they provide unique perspectives and are in the foul ball zone, adding excitement. However, seats in L346 can be windy and cold.
Right Field Reserved
Located in sections 201–209, these seats are above the Right Field Mezzanine and offer a mix of affordability and atmosphere. Starting at $15, they provide decent views of the field and mountains but are farther from the action. Avoid sections 208–209 for better lighting and sightlines.
Upper Right Field
These seats, part of the upper deck’s right field sections (L301–L310), offer budget-friendly options starting at $10. They provide good views of the outfield and scoreboard but are among the farthest from home plate. Fans in these sections enjoy the vibrant atmosphere near the rooftop bar.
Rockpile Seats
The Rockpile, located in center field (sections 401–403), is Coors Field’s most affordable seating option, with tickets starting at $4. These bleacher-style seats are popular for their value and lively atmosphere, offering a distant but panoramic view of the game. They are fully exposed to the sun, so they’re best for evening games or fans prepared for the Colorado sun.
